“For travelers seeking a central location without breaking the bank, this could be a solid choice. The updated rooms and comfortable beds stand out, and the rare perk of guaranteed underground parking in Banff is a huge stress reliever. Keep in mind that some noise is to be expected given the prime location on Banff Avenue.”

The King Edward Hotel enjoys a superb location in the heart of downtown Banff, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Rooms are generally spacious and come equipped with convenient amenities like microwaves. While most find the ceiling fan sufficient, some guests have noted the lack of air conditioning can be challenging during warmer periods. Free underground parking adds significant value, especially given the central location.

friendly staff lovely room cozy dinner parking confusion omitted streets decaf coffee
the front desk was so friendly and helpful when i left my bags. i could explore even longer before and after my official check-in time. my room was clean and looked lovely, . tommy's neighborhood bar was also nearby, about a 2-minute walk from the building. it made for a wonderful, friendly place for a cozy dinner.
the front desk didn't seem so knowledgeable about everything. the email with parking instructions omitted streets, made finding my way confusing. i requested decaf coffee, but they were unable to supply it. i had wished they had what i needed to better suit my experience.
